- You wouldn't think a collaboration from two chaps living in very different corners of the Britain would work. One residing in the pebble dashed charm of North Wales, the other hailing from the anonymous streets of South London. But the bastard child of PLAY and BASTIC seems to hold up nicely. Plastic Thumbs pull all their influences from reggae, funk and the golden era of hip-hop, pulled together with the same focus, colliding the buzz and crackling energy of dancehall with rhyme splattered beats and gut-wrenching low-end bass lines.
